Fishmeal is one of the most used and most important sources of protein in pig feed – especially for piglets. The fishmeal protein is so important because it is highly digestible and does not provoke diarrhea.
Fishmeal used to be easy available and cheap, but today the prices on fishmeal fluctuate and the quality can be unstable.
Therefore there is an increased demand for alternative stable and well balanced protein sources.
DanVit has composed a very digestible alternative to Fishmeal
ProtaSoy® is an alternative to fishmeal that is well adapted to piglets and tested to ensure that piglets like the product. The well-balanced protein mixture has a high content of amino acids and minerals as well as omega 3 fatty acids. ProtaSoy® is a modern protein feed with easily digestible protein components suitable for piglets.
5 kg ProtaSoy® replaces 4 kg fishmeal and 1 kg wheat.
