How does DanWean® LuxMilk® Pro make a difference?
A constant access to fresh milk can increase a litter’s survival rate.
Why can the amount of milk be a problem?
Good genetics and especially Danish pig genetics helps increase the number of piglets in a litter. This is good, but not all piglets grow according to plan. Their chance of survival depends on the piglets getting the right feed and enough nutrients. To increase the survival rate of a litter you need to ensure that all piglets has access to fresh milk. By offering the piglets a supplement to the sows own milk you can increase the survival rate as the extra milk makes it possible for the sow to take care of more piglets.
How does DanWean® LuxMilk® Pro make a difference?
DanWean® Luxmilk has the same high content of protein, fat and lactose as the sows’ own milk. The piglets like the milk and the milk is easy for the piglets to digest. Luxmilk® contains vitamins and lactic acid bacteria, which help reduce infections and diarrhea. The piglets drinking our milk are typically 1 kilo heavier than other piglets when they are weaned. DanWean® Luxmilk® Pro is suitable for automatic feedingsystems by being highly soluble. All piglets have access to fresh milk, they eat well, the milk helps reducesthe risk of diarrhea and the survival rate of a litter is increased.
