Who are we?

In 2023, Danvit became part of the Vestjyllands Andel family, creating valuable synergies for both sides. Danvit’s customers now have access to even more expertise, while VA’s mineral factory in Hee can optimize its capacity. As a result, all Danvit customers receive minerals produced in our own facility, ensuring consistent quality and reliability.

In addition, Danvit has a subsidiary in Serbia, where our colleagues work directly with local farmers and provide services to neighboring countries. They ensure that knowledge is shared and applied in the most efficient way, helping farmers achieve the best possible results.

Our innovation 

In VA when we say practical innovation, we mean practical in the good old-fashioned way. Our experience and belief is that you can be a leader in innovation without getting lost in large internal laboratory and testing facilities. We develop together with our members, farmers, established researchers and manufacturers. We believe this is the best environment for practical innovation. We also want to show our members that we have the professional courage to involve them.

If we sense a need for new facilities – for example a protein flour factory – we build it. We have also established a test centre, where we have created a test environment under production conditions that will help us learn more about the future of feed for pigs. Once again in collaboration with our members. Because at Vestjyllands Andel, we are together in practical innovation.
